SUMMARY:Second Hungarian Acrobatic Convention
DESCRIPTION:The Second Hungarian Acrobatic Convention will be held from august 16th – august 23d 2018\, for acrobats and acro yogis of all levels\, beginner or (very) advanced. This includes: \n\nWorkshops from renowned teachers : Noël and Wybren and Hugo\nTraining outside\, with and without longe\na shade net above the playground\nTraining inside in the community house if the weather is bad\nBeautiful camping place on the hill\nFreshly cooked vegetarian food (optionally vegan or carnivore)\nWifi\nFree use of bicycles\n\nDisciplines and techniques \nIn the workshops we will address a variety of acrobatic disciplines and techniques including building and pitching\, handstands\, washing machines\, flows and sequences\, lifts and balances\, Icarian and trio tricks. \nSkill level\nThis training week is open for anyone. You will receive personal instruction to your skill level. If you like\, you can attend with your dedicated training partner\, but everybody will switch partners during the training\, since this will give you a deeper understanding of acrobatics. Upon registration let me know if you’re preferred role is base or flyer (or both). \nProgram\nOur convention will have (at least) 22 workshops and there is always a free training floor. There will be workshops every day\, except for sunday. This day is for other kinds of leisure; a walk in the beautiful environment\, a bicycle ride (there are bikes at the venue) up the Bükk mountains\, or a visit to the famous Lippizaner horses in Silvasvárad. The ancient town of Eger is also nearby with its fortress and thermal bath. \nAccommodation and food\nNestled in a shady cool tree forest\, lies the campground. Please bring your own tent\, mat and sleeping bag. Sanitary facilities are basic but sufficient (toilets and showers). There will be three vegetarian meals a day\, freshly cooked for you. Our kitchenmaster can cook meat/fish or vegan food on request. SUMMARY:AcroVentures Slovenia Intermediate Level
DESCRIPTION:7 days acro and hiking in the Slovenian Alps. Followed by 3 optional Kayak days. Join both parts or just the first acro week. Travel & Train together with an acro-crowd and 4 different teachers. \nSlovenia is a country of stunning natural beauty and diversity\, boasting gorgeous mountains\, rivers and forests. We will take 7 days in the Julian Alps to hike 11kms following the iconic Soča river from its source in the mountains to the town of Bovec. Along the way we will have 5 main workshop units\, plenty of free training\, jam time and daily handstand practice. We plan 2 detouring hikes – an iconic workshop on top of our favourite mountain plus a two-day hike with an overnight stay in a mountain hut. These are our favourite hikes in Slovenia to combine with acro. After that we will leave the mountains on the Soča river with the kayaks/minirafts\, while enjoying another 2 workshop units and solidifying the previous weeks acro skills. Expect outdoor life galore\, bonfire magic\, acro every day\, slacklining and other outdoor action\, sunshine days and starlit nights and lots of fun. SUMMARY:Traditional Austrian Acro Convention
DESCRIPTION:Because of the great success of the (F)AAC and (S)AAC\, the happiness of all participants\, a new organization team of the Verein Kreativsport is inviting all of you to the (T)AAC – the Traditional Austrian Acrobatic Convention. The aim of the convention is the exchange of partner acrobatic skills at all levels with the support of international teachers. \nTimetable\nThis is the preliminary timetable for the convention. \n \nCosts\n\n€ 440\,- adult dormitory (common bathroom)\n€ 380\,- adult in vans or camper (common bathroom)\n\nReduction of prices for children/helper: \n\n0-4 year olds – free\n5-9 year old – minus € 250\,-\n10-15 year olds – minus € 150\,-\npermanent helper – minus € 100\,-\n\nThe participation fee is per person and includes 9 nights in a dormitory with a common bathroom. There is the possibility to sleep in your own van\, mobile home or camp and use the common bathrooms. The fee also includes food and drinks\, acrobatic workshops and free training with teachers’ support\, and common activities. As the convention should be a collective experience every participant is asked to help 3 times during the convention (e.g.\, cooking\, dishwashing\, taxi driving…) \nHelpers\nThere are 10 “permanent helper” jobs. To be a permanent helper means to work 6 shifts of 3-4 hours in the same team (breakfast/lunch/dinner/dishwasher) during the convention. This means that you can’t participate in all workshops. If you are interested please contact us. \nCancellation policy\nWe will take a cancellation fee of € 50\,- when cancelling your registration before June 30\, 2018. For cancellations after July 1\, 2018 there is no refund of the participation fee. There is no reduction of the participation fee if you cannot stay for the whole convention. \nRisk and liability\nThe participation and training at the (T)AAC is at your own risk. We do not take any legal responsibility for accidents and property damage at the compound. There is also no liability for the loss or theft of any valuables. Persons under the age of 18 who are not accompanied by an adult require a signed authorization from their legal guardian. \nPets\nPlease don’t bring your pets (dogs\, cats\, hamsters\, …).

SUMMARY:Halle Acrobatics Convention
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the first acrobatic convention in Halle! We are more than excited to share the news with you and looking forward to the training time together! Come and share the acrobatic energy with 34 other acrobats during the 21st -24th of June ’18. This event will be cameral\, cozy\, with a strong intention to keep the price and costs as low as possible and give a lot of space for workshops as well as open trainings. Thanks to the size of the event there will be an opportunity to connect better to our fellow acrobats and keep the family energy. It will be also possible to remember all of the names – when was the last time you were at a convention when that was possible!? ? \nThe venue \nThe convention will be hosted by GutAlaune\, a growing artist and creative community of 10 big and 5 small humans. It’s located on the hill\, just outside Halle (Saale) in Germany\, right next to the river and surrounded by nature. Parts of the place are still a bit improvised but it is abundant in charm and feel-good -energy. For the training space we have a basic circus tent and two outside training spaces with longes and puzzle mats. We offer a bike-borrowing option for those who’d like to visit the nearby hills\, meadows\, forests or city! Sleeping – in your tent. Shower – outside. With curtains 😉 \nThe teachers \nTeachers for this convention will be announced soon.\nDo YOU have an experience as a teacher and would like to contribute this way to the event? SUMMARY:DAPC - Dutch Acro Post Convention
DESCRIPTION:DAPC 2018\nDutch Acro Post Convention 2018\nMay 21st – May26th 2018\nCircus Studio ODEON\, Rotterdam Netherlands \nWHAT\nThe second edition of this convention will be organized directly after the Dutch Acro Convention 2018. Again we will offer a five days intensive partneracrobatics convention\, with workshops from Fons (Bennink)\, Wybren (Wouda)\, Paul (Griffioen)\, Trudi (Albert) & Bart (‘Acro’ Venne). There will be daily handstand classes plus three blocks with 2 different workshops per day. In the morning the workshops mainly will focus on developing skillsby offering drills and principles; in the afternoon the workshops will bemore playful and focused on tricks and variations. Subject of the workshops will be set considering the participant´s wishes. Besides the workshops there´s always place for free training. We have a maximum capacity of 50 – 55 participants. \nWHERE\nThe Post Convention will take place in the Circus Studio “ODEON” in Rotterdam. https://www.facebook.com/circusstudiorotterdam\nIn the hall we will have multiple longes\, enough mats\, a cozy place to sit together\, showers and a kitchen. The studio is in the center of Rotterdam\, 10 minutes walk from central railway station. There is a separate (theatre-) room for sleeping inside the building. It’s not possible to camp outside\, but there are lots of BNB-places nearby and a camping in the city of Rotterdam. Parking car or mobile home near the venue is possible\, but is very expensive (3€/hour). Performing since 1989 and giving workshops worldwide. Paul specializes in teaching icarian acrobatics\, and has a special love for basing kurbets\, cascades and one arm handstands. He teaches from his experiences both as base and flyer. Paul’s classes are always full of happy students\, bouncing\, throwing\, catching and smiling with the challenges of Paul’s instructions. \nWybren – `the serious skill supervisor´ – Wouda\nWybren is one of the best known teachers in Europe\, currently teaching at Codarts Circus Arts\, Rotterdam. He has been involved in Sports- and Circus Acrobatics alike since he was a child\, and has become world-renown for analyzing dynamic skills\, his demanding drills and attention to minute detail. He has the ability to break down the most complex tricks and instruct students step-by-step in the pre-exercises that lead up to it. The rumor goes he sometimes even gives compliments  \nFons – `the friendly veteran´ – Bennink\nFons is one of the most experienced acrobatic teachers with 30 years ofexperience and has been teaching for the last 25 years. He is the veteran of many international workshops all over the world. His classes cover from complete beginners up to advanced performers. Fons trained and performed with ‘The Como Brothers’ in Amsterdam for 5 years and ‘The Osmani’s’ also in Amsterdam for 3 years. \nTrudi – ‘Albatros’ – Albert\nTrudi is the flyer in the team. She has been teaching the acro group of the Munich University for over 10 years. Also she gives workshops on acro conventions\, specializing in handstand and preparatory workshops for hand to hand and tempo tricks. She has been performing in aerial silks and as part of ‘Traumfänger’ acrobatics all over Europe. \nBart – ‘Acro’ – Venne\nBart\, originally from Holland is organizer of many conventions and a travelling acro teacher\, offering his skills all over world. He’s specializing in standing dynamic tricks without flight\, crocodiles and creative\, complicated transitions (not only with hand- and foot stands) both in duo and trio acrobatics. \nFOOD\nWe are very happy to have Jasper cooking for us again this year. He will provide breakfast\, lunch and dinner.
